Transportation
We encourage you to let us arrange transportation for you to and from the airport or other city locations. Our private carriers allow you to ride in comfort and safety where many taxies do not. Additionally, taxies may not be allowed beyond the community gate unless previously approved. Average cost for airport pickup is $35.

If you are driving yourself (rental or personal car), please advise us in advance so that we can provide you with a map and arrange your admittance into the community area. Please keep in mind that the road is curvy and very steep in places. If you are not accustomed to driving in mountain conditions, or do not have a car suitable for such conditions, we encourage you to allow us to make transportation arrangements for you.

Community Amenities
Located within the gates of our community, are hiking trails, tennis, a restaurant etc. There is a small snack store outside the community gates, approximately a 10 minute drive. Grocery stores, pharmacies, doctors and shopping is approximately a 30 minute drive.

Policies

A Refundable deposit of 20% of your total stay is required to hold your reservation. This must be paid via Paypal.com. (instructions for making deposits will be provided when making a reservation).

If you cancel: the entire deposit is refundable if the reservation is canceled 30 days or more before arrival date. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival date the deposit will not be refunded. (see below for more detailed explanation).

Balance is due in cash upon arrival or PREPAID by credit card (requires tax of 10% added). Instructions for credit card payments will be sent with reservation confirmation.

Rooms are offered on a first come, first served basis. Availability cannot be guaranteed until deposit has been received.

Extensions / Tentative reservations: We cannot guarantee availability for time you have not booked. If you would like to extend your stay, you may make a request and if the unit is available we will extend your reservation. You will need to pay for the extended time in order to guarantee it’s availability. We will not hold units or make tentative reservations.

Check in/out: Check-in is after 3pm. If the room is available, early check in can be arranged but is not guaranteed. Check out is by 11am. Late checkout will result in a one day standard rate charge.

Rates: Rates are subject to change without notice. Rates are only guaranteed after booking is confirmed and you have paid the deposit.

Cancellations and refunds: Reservations must be canceled by guest, in writing at least 30 days prior to arrival date in order to receive a refund of your deposit. Refunds will not be given for early departure.

If it becomes necessary for Ginger House to cancel or modify this agreement due to occurrences outside the control of Ginger House, guests will be notified promptly and Ginger House shall endeavor to offer the guest alternate property choices. The guest will have a choice of accepting the substitute property and paying or receiving the difference in rate for the new property, or Ginger house will refund for unused days. In the event of changes or complete cancellation Ginger House's liability will be limited to the refund of all payments received. In no event will Ginger House be responsible for any consequential or incidental damages, including travel expense, alternative lodging, or other expenses.

Extra Services: All extra services must be paid in cash upon receipt of service. If an extra service is included in the price of the rental and is rendered by a third party (Tour operator, taxi, etc) and this service fails to operate through no fault of Ginger House, refunds will not be given if guest decides to depart early due to service failure.

Alcoholic Beverages: Our bar area is available for your use and mixers are provided free of charge, however, alcohol cannot be purchased on site. If you wish to have the bar stocked with your favorites, you will need to provide a list prior to arrival. These items will be purchased for you and added to your bill. No refunds are given for unused purchases. Items purchased will be your property and therefore you are entitled to take them with you at the end of your stay.

Number of Occupants: Ginger House reserves the right to cancel this contract, evict or refuse entry to parties who exceed the maximum number of occupants listed on confirmation and promotional material.

Animals: We are unable to accommodate guest's pets at this time.

Children: Children over the age of 12 are welcome at Ginger House, however, Parental Guidance is required at all times. Ginger House does not provide babysitting services and we request that children under the age of 15 not be left on premises without adult supervision. Ginger House is not responsible for content viewed by guest(s) on Internet or television.

Other Charges: We reserve the right to charge guests for excessive use, damage (beyond normal ware and tear) or theft of facility property and belongings. We encourage guests to advise us of damage and NOT to replace damaged item(s). Guest will be charged for item repair or replacement at the sole discretion of Ginger House regardless of whether the item has been replaced by guest. Damaged items are the property of Ginger House and removal of damaged items by guests will be considered theft.

Smoking: Smoking is allowed in outside areas only. All guest rooms are Smoke Free. A cleaning fee of $100 will be charged if smoking policy is violated.

Liability: By booking a reservation, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the company, owners, assignees, staff and other guests of Ginger House for ANY injury or damage - to persons or things - incurred on premises or as a result of your stay here. Resolution of disputes will be handled by independent arbitration and follow the laws of the Republic of Panama. Persons making reservations are considered Guests of Ginger House and are not renters, leasers or sub-leasers nor does this contract constitute a rental or lease agreement. This contract constitutes a private agreement between parties for an exchange of goods and/or services.
